My full name is Renee Marie Philomena Therese Kray, but you can call me Renee, Nae Nae, Homburger, Batgirl, Donna, or just about anything else you can think of. My home base is a house at the end of a dead end dirt road in Michigan where I live with my parents, eight siblings, and one really dumb dog. I was homeschooled through elementary and high school, which gave me the freedom to experiment with writing from a young age. Now I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature from Ave Maria University and I dabble with storytelling in all different mediums.
I have had stage plays produced in Detroit and got to see my first finished screenplay come to life through Imagination Thief, which I co-wrote with DeadWringer Productions. I have had several short stories published online and I released my first collection, Think Again: A Captivating Compendium, last year.
I am a part time adult and a full time nerd who is addicted to costuming, shopping and anything pink and sparkly. My ambition is to someday be a crazy cat lady, but until then, my heart is equally divided between being a Batmaniac, Ringer, Disnerd, Burtonite, Xenite, Potterhead, Brony, DC Fangirl, and Swiftie. (If you don’t understand any of my fandoms, I’ll be more than happy to explain what they are and then indoctrinate you into them!) The creative artists that most shape my life and stories are J.R.R. Tolkien, Neil Gaiman, J.K. Rowling, Tim Burton, Walt Disney, and Dr. Seuss.
Please see my “store” and “connect” tabs for more info on how to keep up with me and my work.
