Reading is magical!

Excuse the title. My mind is on the random MLP figurines I bought today. I don’t even WATCH that show; the storylines kinda annoy me from what I’ve seen of it. But I LOVE the characters! Pinkie Pie for the WIN!

Anyways.

Last year towards the end of August, I started my first semester of college. Okay, so it’s a community college, but still. I randomly decided to keep track of how many books I finished after starting school. Partly because I love making lists, and partly because I think it would be cool to challenge myself to read more books each year than I had the previous. So since it is again the end of August, and the fall semester has started back up again, I consider my first year of read tracking officially CLOSED. *dramatic music plays*

These are all the books I read from last August to now.

  1. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone  –J.K. Rowling
  2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets  –J.K. Rowling
  3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – J.K. Rowling
  4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire  –J.K. Rowling
  5. Breaking Night  -Liz Murray
  6. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix  –J.K. Rowling
  7. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince – J.K. Rowling
  8. The Odyssey  -Homer
  9. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows  –J.K. Rowling
  10. The Hunger Games  -Suzanne Collins
  11. The Hobbit (Re-Read)  –J.R.R. Tolkien
  12. Catching Fire -Suzanne Collins
  13. The Fellowship of the Ring (Re-Read)  –J.R.R. Tolkien
  14. Burton on Burton  -Tim Burton
  15. The Two Towers (Re-Read)  –J.R.R. Tolkien
  16. The Return of the King (Re-Read)  –J.R.R. Tolkien
  17. A Wizard of Earthsea  -Ursula K. LeGuin
  18. The Silmarillion  -J.R.R. Tolkien
  19. The Color of the Sunset  -Marie Masters
  20. From Ballet to the Batcave and Beyond  –Yvonne Craig
  21. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children –Ransom Riggs
  22. Gotham City 14 Miles -Jim Beard
  23. The End of the Third Age  –J.R.R. Tolkien with Christopher Tolkien
  24. Coraline (Re-Read)  -Neil Gaiman
  25. Batman: The World of the Dark Knight –Daniel Wallace
  26. Batman and Philosophy: The Dark Knight of the Soul -Mark D. White (Though this one is halfway a cheat, I had started it a long time ago and only finished it this year. So it’s like half a book.)
  27. The Doppleganger Chronicles: The First Escape  -G.P. Taylor
  28. The Dark Knight Manual: Tools, Weapons, Vehicles & Documents from the Batcave  -Brandon T. Snider

Personally, I don’t think 28 is bad at all! Hopefully this upcoming year I can top it. =D

What have YOU been reading? Have we read any books in common? …Or do you just love Pinkie Pie? =D
